As a doctor in palliative care, I'm really blessed to have a meaningful job helping terminally ill patients to be as comfortable as they can, and supporting their loved ones, as they journey through their last days. It's not about adding years to life, but about adding life to years.

I truly believe HCA Hospice Care, where I work,  does an important job in our society - bringing palliative care to patients' homes.  HCA wants to care for any patient that needs help, regardless of their means, so the service is free of charge.

HCA is a registered charity, and needs the financial support of donors to care for the thousands of patients we visit. If it's a cause that you feel led to support, do check out HCA's donation page.  Volunteers are also always welcome.
